Amanda Braatz, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC

Amanda is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with more than 19 years of experience in health care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she has worked in inpatient, hospital consultation, emergency/crisis, and clinic/outpatient settings. Her diverse background allows her to provide holistic, integrated, and individualized care for each person she works with.

She specializes in providing medication evaluations and ongoing management for adults. She has experience with a wide range of mental health concerns, including: PTSD/trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, anxiety, insomnia, OCD, psychosis, and personality disorders.

She strongly values the benefits of continuing education and is currently pursuing additional certifications in integrative psychiatry, nutrition, & biofeedback.

Together you will create a holistic plan to achieve your personal treatment goals. Her philosophy toward prescribing is to use medications in a minimal and targeted way. If medication is appropriate, she will work with you to find the right medication to help you achieve remission of symptoms and improve your quality of life.
